                   Small facts about the Company

How come the Company’s buses are called 99 and 999? Because at the beginning the Company’s buses were affixed with 99 number code to represent their licence which allowed them to run on any routes nationwide. However, Department of Land Transport later reorganized bus routes and each route was given a number thus buses running on each route then had route numbers affixed on them instead but passengers still call the Company’s buses 99 out of habit.Whereas the 999 buses were air-conditioned buses. The Company’s colour is orange because at the beginning the buses were painted orange and had no air-conditioning therefore passengers called the buses “Rot Ron” (hot bus). People were so familiar with the orange buses that orange has become the Company’s colour.
